Fit & Functional Fitness Classes
Cardio & Strength — Our trainers have the ability to modify exercises to fit the physical needs of each client, whether in a personal training session or in our fitness classes. The fitness classes are for all age groups and activity levels; no matter what your fitness level, you will make progress. If you want a challenge; if you demand results, our classes are for you.
Athletics: TAP Into Your Potential
Durability is the single most important component of athletic training. Our workouts and programs are dynamic and progressive. We believe you cannot train for one singular athletic component. Isolated training leads to athletic limitations. To construct a complete athlete, you need to develop balance, quickness, speed, and strength and the body’s ability to utilize all its athletic components at once. Learn how to master all of your physical talents by unleashing untapped athletic potential and focusing on developing full-body power. We will fine-tune your ability for explosive power by prescribing customized exercises to fit your individual training level.

We have created this program for members who wanted to be more than a gym member. Designed to teach kids how to play purposefully to encourage an active and healthy lifestyle; and creating the building blocks to be successful at any sport. Watch for special camps and programs throughout the year!
Our athlete development camps incorporate a combination of power, strength, and development training to create the TOTAL TAP ATHLETE. Our trainers use our very own TAP philosophy to put athletes to the test in areas including function, balance, durability and mobility. NASM certifications are the most sought after in the personal trainer industry, as its systems and methodologies represent the “gold standard” in fitness. In fact, the organization’s certifications require the most comprehensive knowledge of human movement science, functional anatomy, physiology and kinesiology, as well as functional assessment and program design. NASM solution-focused certifications create trainers who enhance the performance and knowledge of their fitness staff, provide a consistent training experience, and help reduce injuries.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND: B.S. in Exercise Science, minors in Coaching and Psychology (EWU)
Lauren attended W.F. West High School where she played basketball and softball. She then went on to play both sports at Centralia College and receive both her general AA and Associates in Business. Afterwards, she transferred to Eastern Washington University and graduated in 2017 with her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with minors in Coaching and Psychology. Lauren is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She also is an assistant Women’s Basketball coach for Centralia College. Lauren loves being outdoors and her hobbies include playing golf and spending time with her dogs.
Lauren’s Favorite TAP Exercise & Why: Dumbbell Rear Leg Elevated Lunge, because it is a brutally hard full body exercise that pretends to be just a leg exercise. It activates every muscle in your legs as well as grip strength, sore stabilization, and balance.

CERTIFICATIONS: CPR + First Aid Certified
Fano graduated from Toledo High School in 2019. He then went on to Centralia College to receive his AA while playing basketball for the Blazers. Fano has been training at TAP since it was formerly known as Adapt in 2010, working out with many high-level athletes and trainers. Since working at TAP, Fano has started our TAP Basketball training, using his knowledge of basketball to help and develop many athlete’s skills on the court. He plans to continue to keep up the tradition of helping kids become a high-level athlete and get them to reach their future goals.”
Fano’s Favorite TAP Exercise & Why: Plyometrics/Jumping, because of how much work it takes and how different it is from any other movement
